Recommendations and AI Notice
We help you find gift ideas. You know the person you are buying for; our suggestions are a starting point for your choice.
1. What a recommendation means
Suggestions are based on your answers and our selected catalogue. They are not a promise that a recipient will like a gift, that it is the best option on the market or that it will suit every need.
2. AI explanations
AI helps interpret interests and generate short explanations. It can misunderstand a preference or describe a product inaccurately. Check factual claims, features and suitability against the retailer's information before buying.
An AI explanation is not a customer review, testimonial or proof of first-hand use. Where we identify first-hand experience, we do so separately and describe its limits in our Affiliate Disclosure.
3. Price and availability
Retailer information can change after we receive it. Check the current price, stock, delivery charge and full description before placing an order. Please report inaccurate information to hello@mindthegift.co.uk so we can investigate.
4. Delivery and Emergency Mode
Delivery estimates and Emergency Mode help you look for gifts suited to a deadline. They are not a delivery guarantee. Check the retailer's delivery date, cut-off time, postcode restrictions and fulfilment terms.
An electronic voucher may still need payment checks, processing or activation before it can be used. Check the retailer's stated timing.
5. Gifts for children and age restrictions
Adults buying for children should check the manufacturer's recommended age and safety warnings, including warnings about small parts, batteries and supervision. A recipient age band helps guide the search but does not establish that a product is safe or suitable.
For age-restricted products or experiences, check the applicable restrictions with the retailer and make sure the purchase and intended use are lawful.
6. Food, allergies and other requirements
Preference filters are not an allergy, medical or dietary safety check. Please do not enter health details into the gift search. Check ingredients, allergens and suitability directly with the retailer or manufacturer. Nothing on this service is medical or other professional advice.
7. Experiences, tickets and vouchers
Check dates, locations, availability, booking conditions, eligibility, expiry and cancellation terms before buying. Consumer rights differ by product and circumstances; some dated leisure bookings and personalised goods do not carry the usual change-of-mind cancellation right. Your statutory rights still apply.
8. Our responsibility
