1. What these technologies do

2. Your choice
We use technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the service or remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics is off unless you choose to accept it. You can use the gift search without accepting analytics.
Our cookie controls let you accept or reject analytics. You can change your choice at any time using , also available in the footer. Closing or ignoring the banner does not give consent.
Withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics collection on this browser. It does not automatically erase information already lawfully collected. Contact us if you want to exercise your data protection rights.

We ask you to choose again after 180 days. The consent choice and its timestamp are stored separately for each website address where you make a choice.
“Session” means the technology is intended to last for the browser session. A stated expiry period can restart when a cookie is updated, where described in the table. Browser settings may also affect when information is removed.
4. Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand use of the service and improve it. It can collect information such as pages viewed, interactions, device details and approximate location. Our Google Analytics settings retain event data for two months and user data for 14 months. The user-data period restarts when new activity is recorded from that user. These settings do not govern most standard aggregated reports. Cookie lifetimes are separate.
We do not use analytics consent as permission to send your gift-search free text or sensitive information to Google. Our analytics implementation excludes those fields.
5. Retailer and affiliate links
Gift links may pass through an affiliate network before opening the retailer's website. The network and retailer may use cookies or other tracking to attribute a purchase and operate their services. Clicking a link is not, by itself, your consent to all tracking.
Our arrangements include Awin, Rakuten Advertising, Adtraction and a direct programme using UpPromote. Their privacy information is linked from our Privacy Policy.
Our Cookie settings control optional technologies on our own sites. Choices for another site or service may need to be made through that organisation's controls. Any affiliate technology operating on our own pages is included in the table above and is subject to the consent rules that apply to its purpose.
6. Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies and other stored information. Doing so may remove your saved cookie choice, so you may be asked again. Blocking necessary technologies may affect parts of the service.
